Shopping Lists - Lets you create your own shopping lists and  print or e-mail them.

Categories - Organizes your recipes into any category name of your choosing.

Calendar - Lets you create shopping lists based on a date so you can print a list from a start date to an end date.  This is very useful if you're on a schedule or a budget.

Recipes - Enter your own recipes, or change an existing recipe's ingredients or directions.  This screen automatically calculates the cost and other factors about your recipe.  You can even change the number of servings and the program will calculate all the new quantities automatically.

Recipe Ingredients - Update the ingredient quantity, pictures, or suppliers.  Here, the suppliers are very useful so you'll know where to find those little unknown ingredients.

Recipe Pictures - Lets you assign pictures to a recipe so you can see the recipe before cooking.

Ingredients - Allows you to update cost, calories, fat grams, and carbs for any ingredient.  Also allows you to maintain pictures and suppliers for any of the ingredients in CDChef.

Substitutions - Assign one or more substitutions to any ingredient, so, if you are allergic, or just don't like the ingredient, you can lookup a substitution for it.

CdChef will help you organize your favorite recipes on all those little papers, note cards, and those worn and torn cookbooks.  Simply add the ingredients to the recipe to create new recipes or to add your own recipes to CdChef.  Then when you need to go shopping, just drag and drop recipes on a shopping list and CdChef will add up the amounts of common ingredients from each of the recipes and print your shopping list and take it with you to shop, or even e-mail it to your grocer if they have an internet address.
